Stacey Childers-Teeple
Owner, OTD, OTR/L

Stacey is a Registered, Licensed Occupational Therapy Doctor. With over 20 years of experience in Occupational Therapy, hand and upper extremity therapy, and geriatric rehabilitation, Stacey has treated patients with a variety of diagnoses.

Stacey received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia, followed by receiving her Occupational Therapy Doctorate at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah.

Prior to establishing Progressive Therapy Solutions, in February 2019, Stacey worked as a traveling occupational therapist in the states of Iowa, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri in outpatient, acute inpatient, and skilled nursing facilities providing rehabilitative services to post- surgical and post-traumatic patients, as well as, patients with repetitive motion injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

Stacey worked at Physical Therapy Specialist Clinic in both the West Plains and Mtn Grove, Missouri clinics prior to her becoming a traveling therapist. There, she managed the hand therapy department, providing upper extremity rehabilitation to post-surgical and post-traumatic injury patients, as well as, patients with work, sport, or leisure repetitive motion injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

In addition to her experience in treating multiple upper extremity, and hand diagnoses, she continues to expand her knowledge with the most up to date research in order to provide evidence based therapeutic approaches for the best outcomes of her patients. Stacey is also knowledgeable in physical agent modalities, cup therapy, and custom fabrication for splints and orthotics.

Stacey is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapy (ASHT), American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT), Missouri Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA), and Kansas Occupational Therapy Association (KOTA). Stacey has received a Tribute Award from the University of Missouri – Columbia for patient advocacy, and also received the Outstanding Service to the Organization Award through the Missouri Occupational Therapy Association.

When Stacey is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Stephen, on their Bison Ranch in Dora, Missouri. Stacey is also an avid St Louis Cardinals fan; she loves to cook, kayak, hunt, and scrapbook with friends. Both Stacey and her husband are veterans of the United States Navy with a total of 26 years combined active duty service.

Jennifer Hicks

Jennifer began working at Progressive Therapy Solutions as our front desk receptionist in July 2019. Jennifer was born and raised in West Plains, Missouri. She is a graduate of West Plains High School. Jennifer and her husband, Justin, were married in 2004. They have a daughter, Cameron, and a son, lane. When not at work, she enjoys being a Thirty-One Consultant and spending time with family and friends.

Aubrey Johnson
Office Manager

Aubrey married her husband, Clay, and moved to West Plains in June of 2015. She began working as the office manager at Progressive Therapy Solutions July of 2019. In her spare time, Aubrey enjoys spending time with friends and family, chasing her toddler around, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
